Mohi-ud-Din Islamic Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MIIPS)
The Mohi-ud-Din Islamic Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MIIPS) is a professional and modern institute located in the beautiful city of Mirpur, AJ&K, just 2 hours from Islamabad and 25 km from Dina via G.T. Road. Nestled near the southeast of Mangla Dam in the industrial area of Mirpur, MIIPS is a project of Mohi-ud-Din Islamic University, which was established by the Legislative Assembly of AJ&K in 1999 and approved in 2000. The institute stands out as a pioneer in offering Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) education in the region.
MIIPS is known for its highly qualified and experienced faculty, many of whom also serve at the Mohi-ud-Din Islamic Medical College. The institute is fully recognized by the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan and has successfully graduated five batches over the last eleven years. The goal of MIIPS is to prepare students not only with advanced pharmaceutical knowledge but also with strong ethical and spiritual values based on Islamic teachings.
The founder of the university, Hazrat Allama Pir Ala-ud-Din Siddiqui (RA), was a visionary scholar who dedicated his life to serving humanity through education. His legacy continues through the efforts of Chancellor Pir Sultan-ul-Arfeen Siddiqui, Vice Chancellor Lt. Gen. (R) Dr. Asif Mumtaz Sukhera HI(M), and Director Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yaseen, all of whom are committed to maintaining high academic standards while promoting character building, social responsibility, and lifelong learning.
At MIIPS, the focus is not just on academics but also on building well-rounded individuals.
